Levy täynnä Ubuntussa

Levy täynnä, sisäänkirjautuminen ei onnistu. Ruutu kertoo että Gnomen virranhallinnan sovelluksella on väärät asetukset. Levy täysi 100%
  1. LiveCd bootti.
  2. SItten kiinnitä levy Places/Sijainti
  3. Nautilus
  4. Poista liiat tiedostot Shift/Delete jolloin täyden levyn roskakori ei pistä vastaan.
  5. Boottaa Ubuntu
SimpleBackup täytti levyn kun se keräsi kolmekymmentä .gz tiedostoa levylle.

Artec T14 : Kaikki kanavia ei löydy: Kaffeinen aikavakiot

Artec T14 USB MINI Digital TV STICK

Kaffeinen kanavat löytyvät muuttamalla aikavakiota.
Menusta --> Televisio --> Määritä television asetukset --> Laite 1 (välilehti)

Tuner timeout 3000
Lähde fi-lahti
Nimi Antenni

Signaali on 62%.

Kaffeine alkoi toimimaan!
Ubuntu 9.10:ssa ei toiminut. Synapticilla lisäsin xinen kolme moduulia.
Bug #453916 in Kaffeine: “DVB-T - "Could not open media source"”

Fred61 wrote on 2009-10-31:                          #2
Problem fixed!
Adding package phonon-backend-xine removed the above error messages but lead to a new error:
demux_wavpack: (open_wv_file:127) open_wv_file: non-seekable inputs aren't supported yet.
Then I added
 - libxine1-plugins
 - libxine1-all-plugins
Now kaffeine is able to select and display the DVB channels!
I hope this will help

Projektori ei näytä kuvaa seinällä

Keski-lahden seurakuntaneuvostossa ei saatu Namibialaisen vieraan salkkumikron kuvaa näkyviin. Seuraavassa artikkelissa on useitä vihjeitä tilanteeseen.

Technical Questions. Can’t get the projector to show your image? Look here for help: "My notebook computers projected image is either missing information from the top/bottom, compressed from left/right or doesn't appear at all. What is wrong?

In most cases, to obtain a simultaneous image, the notebook's resolution must match the projector's native resolution. To configure the notebooks external video signal for either XGA(1024x768), SVGA (800x600), or VGA (640x480) resolution do the following:

Connect the product to the computer using the appropriate cable and power the projector on before the computer.

Set the notebook display resolution to either XGA (for a XGA projector) or SVGA (for an SVGA projector)

In Windows 95/98/NT, select 'Control Panel', 'Display Icon', 'Settings', 'Desktop Area' to adjust the resolution to 1024x768 for XGA or 800x600 for SVGA.

In Windows 3.1, select 'Windows Setup' from the 'Main' program group, and change the display driver to either the XGA (1024x768) or SVGA (800x600) or VGA (640x480) driver.

Configure the notebook to display video only on the external video port. This is usually done through a combination of keystrokes (such as FN+F4) or a hardware setup program (consult your computer documentation for details).

Restart Windows to set the external video to either the XGA, SVGA or VGA mode. The image will appear on the LCD panel. Minor sync and image adjustments may be necessary. Note: In some cases, additional adjustments on the computer might also include changing the vertical refresh rate of the video driver being used. Generally, at 640x480 an ideal refresh rate of either 60Hz or 72Hz should be used and at 800x600, 56Hz or 60Hz."

Ubuntu netbook remix 'acid test' wrap-up | Tech News on ZDNet

Ubuntu netbook remix 'acid test' wrap-up | Tech News on ZDNet: "these netbooks to be average non-professional computer users. They have had no problems with the netbooks running Ubuntu rather than Windows - in fact, neither of them noticed or cared about that. Neither has had any questions or complaints about the UNR desktop."
